EI Assessments

Emotional Intelligence (EI) is the ability to understand, use, and manage one’s own emotions, and to understand and respond to the emotions of others. It is the capacity to be aware of, control, and constructively express one’s emotions, and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically.

Emotional Intelligence is a pillar of leadership that leaders can continuously cultivate and strengthen once they have a baseline of their emotional intelligence.

The Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i 2.0) is the world’s leading measure of emotional intelligence, applying decades of research to support effective human performance and development. It is an online self-rating assessment tool, with the option of adding an EQ 360 that gathers assessments from raters to understand how a leader’s personal EI is impacting the work environment.

i5 Conscious Leadership uses the EQ-i  as an essential tool in its conscious leadership training, coaching, and consulting.  Effective and emotionally connected leaders are attuned to their own emotions and to the emotions of their employees so that they are able to create cultures based on trust, respect, integrity, empathy, and healthy communication.

The Leadership Report focuses on leadership effectiveness, each in the context of emotional intelligence. This comprehensive report provides overall results, and presents these using five EQ composite areas:

The report also provides a detailed interpretation of how effectively a leader is using 15 EQ competencies and how, by balancing these competencies, they can significantly improve their personal well-being, workplace & leadership performance, interpersonal relationships, and communication.

i5 founders and consultants are trained and certified to administer and interpret the EQ-i, and to present the report’s conclusions in one-on-one coaching sessions.
