Melissa Scott

President & Co-Founder

Leadership is not static. The world has changed radically and we must adapt how we lead in order to keep pace.

Melissa Scott brings more than 25 years of passion and expertise advising and coaching global Fortune 500 and government leaders with top consulting firms Accenture and Booz Allen Hamilton.

She is President and co-founder of i5 Conscious Leadership, a leadership education, coaching, and consulting firm.

After receiving her MBA from the prestigious Wharton School, Melissa spent more than a decade consulting in strategy, customer experience, organizational performance, and leadership development with global consulting firm Accenture. An internationally recognized expert in retail and consumer products strategies, Melissa traveled the globe working with retail and consumer products companies, racking up frequent flyer miles along the way. A small sample of former clients includes The Gap, Best Buy, CVS, Canadian Tire, and Pfizer.

Having children resulted in Melissa making a conscious decision to stay in one place. She moved to Booz Allen Hamilton where she worked for more than a dozen years across the federal government to help agencies make transformational change through strategic management, organizational development, leadership development, and process improvement. While in the public sector she worked with leaders in the Departments of State, Labor, Homeland Security, and Veterans Affairs, among others.

An award-winning business owner herself, Melissa was the #1 ranked independent sales distributor in the USA for three years running for Thermomix, a subsidiary of the fourth largest direct sales company in the word. During that time, she also grew a team of more than 30 independent sales people that she coached and led.

Melissa’s unprecedented success as an independent distributor resulted in an invitation to join Thermomix as a sales executive. Reporting directly to the CEO, Melissa managed a geographically dispersed sales team including independent consultants and team leaders, and employee branch managers. She grew revenue from under $100K to over $9 million in four years by developing leaders across the eastern United States.

A thought leader in business strategy and leadership, and published author and speaker on employee onboarding, Melissa is driven to help leaders unlock their leadership consciousness driving a positive impact on the people and organizations they lead and the communities they serve.
